March is always a special month for the Portage Park Chamber of Commerce as it is the month of our founding. On March 2nd, the Portage Park Chamber celebrated its 88th birthday! Much has changed in the past 88 years; but the Portage Park Chamber’s mission of “Helping Members and the Community Succeed” remains the same. To that end, I’d like to take this opportunity to illustrate how the benefits of a Portage Park Chamber of Commerce membership can help your business and our community succeed.
A Portage Park Chamber of Commerce membership will provide your business or organization with several marketing opportunities. The first is inclusion in our annual community guide (see photo) that is hand-delivered to 10,000 residences in the 60634 and 60641 zip codes. Members also receive a discounted rate when purchasing ad space in the community guide. The Portage Park Chamber will also create two short videos for our members that will be posted on our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) and sent via Constant Contact to our digital distribution list. In addition, the Portage Park Chamber will share the digital content of our members on our social media (some restrictions apply) and through our Constant Contact email blasts. Members also receive invitations to our networking and speaker-focused events. The Portage Park Chamber will also alert you to various grant opportunities for your business.
